Incredibly proud to announce that I have won an American Web Design Award with GDUSA. The winning entry is for my amazing clients who run Taste of the Upper West Side.
Juror for Young Guns 16
ADC Young Guns recognises the vanguard of creative professionals 30 years of age and under. Founded in 1996, it has grown to become one of the most coveted awards for young creatives around the globe. For many, being named an ADC Young Gun winner is a sure sign of a skyrocketing career, as well as a source of validation for all of the stressful days and sleepless nights that have come with early successes. The Young Guns 16 jury is an eclectic group of creative professionals from across the globe and many disciplines. Along with past Young Gun winners they are joined by an all-star cast of industry veterans, as skilled as they are curious about the rising talent that is celebrated with every passing year of Young Guns.
Wallace and Gromit Art Auction Statue Collaboration
The APM mall in Hong Kong commissioned myself and 5 other talented artists to create a custom 'Wallace' for a Chinese New Year display. I have loved Wallace and Gromit since I was a kid so I was very excited to create my own pink and yellow cherry blossom version. These 5 foot statues will be auctioned off to raise money for selected charities.
Chinese Luna New Year Peach Blossom Installation
The World Trade Centre mall in Hong Kong and I collaborated to create the interactive forest of peach Blossoms and fortune birds. Peach blossoms symbolise prosperity while the hundreds of coloured butterflies dancing in the flowers, symbolise the coming of spring. A flock hummingbirds bring luck and wealth to the visitor. The installations uses innovative technology within an arc-shaped interactive digital screen that acts a a wishing pavillon. The touch sensitive animation plays soft music and reveals good fortune to those who walk though it.
Birds in Paradise is a mural installation for the World Trade Centre mall in Hong Kong.
I have been commissioned to design over 100 square metres of wall and floor illustration to enrich the entrance of the mall. The theme was a bird filled enchanted forest filled with more then 60 different plants, flowers and trees. The butterfly path lead the visitor through the mall to the central atrium. The Birds in Paradise design was also used on a range of supporting collateral including special edition shopping bags, giveaway coffee cups and a free New Years 2018 diary.

IFC Mall Shanghai "Summer Supreme Animal Kingdom"
This summer the Shanghai IFC Mall and I collaborated to create a "Summer Supreme Animal Kingdom" installation. IFC wished to celebrate a world full of colour and happiness and I was honoured to help them with this request. This joyously colourful sculptural attraction includes 16 life sized pattern rich animals which were all hand painted with elaborate details. The installation will be located in the Shanghai IFC mall from the start August to September 3rd. It has been a dream to see my illustrations come to life but even more rewarding to see people enjoying and interacting with them.

Women in Graphic Design – Book Club Review
I have recently tried my hand as a book reviewer. I took this opportunity to turn the spotlight to a subject that is close to my heart – Women in Graphic Design. ‘Women in Graphic Design 1890-2012’ attempts to answer some of the more complex questions related to women within the design industry. Why is it still the case that so few women speak at conferences? How have previously celebrated female designers gradually been forgotten? Are women today judged solely on their work? Why is there still a wage gap? This is a bilingual book (English and German) which celebrates some of the most significant, contemporary female designers and traces their pioneering paths within design through biographies, essays and interviews – a very worthwhile read.
